Amazing win.

You make it sound like flu shots are a 100% cure for the "flu". Far from it actually. The chance of the govt actually matching the strain is slim to none.

Do you guys think that Tavares can produce a little bit more? Did the coach changes his style of play? I know he is producing near a point per game, but I was expecting a 90+ points season out of him. Was my 1st pick in my pool.

Flu shots will get you sick. Don't take them and research the subject if you think I'm saying bull.

He will. A lot of us think he's not playing at the same level. Could be line mates, injury from last season, etc. Either way most of us believe he will be among the top in the league in scoring by the end of the season including myself.

They're injecting you with a strain. I work in health care where the shots are mandatory and I still refuse to get them. The only time I got the flu was when i got the shot.

isles are a force this year. very fun team to watch. game last night reminded me of the devils/flyers games from the lindros era.....flyers would have 50 shots and the devils would get 20 but the difference was the devils would find a way to win. it seems the current flyers have perfected finding ways to lose

With Philly's D you guys can't afford not to take advantage of stellar goal tending performances. At least you guys got a point out of it after being seriously out played.

Not unhappy with the pick. He is producing and it is still soon.

Got Okposo as well. So far, so good. Everybody forgot about him I think. Got him in he 7th round.

Last two games Tavares looks much more like himself. I expect his scoring will pick up over the next couple weeks.

His shootout goal was ridiculous puck handling. He touched the puck twice in the blue paint as part of that goal. He had Mason backed in the net. Tough one for Philly to lose with almost perfect goaltending.

Mason was fantastic for you guys last night. Halak wasn't tested the same way but made two game saving stops when he needed to. That stability in net has been huge for us. I just wish Johnson would start playing more like he did in Boston and less like Nabby last year. Was a fun game to watch and the Flyers always are a difficult opponent for us.

Tavares had been looking off for a couple games but in the penguin series and this past game he's looked very good. He's been making some very nice passes lately and looking more dominant with the puck.

Can't put the loss on mason, but Giroux should be beating himself up for not putting his shot in, he beat halak, all he had to do was raise the puck

he's not reaching his potential this season.. we all believe it may be a lack of Flu Shot that has triggered this.

The coach needs to be fired.

That will be next thing they eliminate in the shootout, no stickhandling within 2 ft. of the goalie. First the spin-o-rama. They have to take the fun out of it somehow. Mason stood on his head last night. Halak did great job as well. For not having any goals scored, besides the shootout, it was a great game to watch.

I've never got a Flu Shot either. Always thought it could get you sick. Call me crazy but I'm not sure I'd ever get one

I wad at work last night, I didn't get to look at the game in depth. How did donovan and strait look? We pitched a shut out, I'm assuming they couldn't of been too bad...

Strait was Strait. He sucks. Donovan was a little better but I think it had more to do with the fwds taking into account who they were playing with. Hopefully DeHaan and Hickey are back in the line up tonight.
